On the day Apple 's financial results for the last quarter of the year were released , it was precisely during his presentation that Apple CEO Tim Cook was questioned about the size of the newly launched tablet, comparing it to Google's famous Nexus 7.
The company's CEO said the following:
"We would never have made a 7-inch tablet ; we don't believe they are good products, and that's why we would never have made one."
In fact, Tim Cook pointed out the difference between 7-inch tablets and the iPad Mini, which has a 7.9-inch screen, offering 35% more usable screen space.
