Hello iPhone users, Chris Smoaks is working on a solution for Flash content on the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. SmokeScreen It is an open source project aimed at converting Flash to JavaScript/HTML5 to run web pages where Flash could not previously be played and improving interoperability where it can.

SmokeScreen works in the browser, reading SWF binary files and editing them to work with SVG animations. With SmokeScreen, Flash-based ads seem to work well, and websites with Flash videos and games also function acceptably.
