cydia_iconHello iPhone users, I've seen complaints in the chat from users who have suddenly had problems opening Cydiawithout having updated the application or added any repository, and everything seems to indicate that it is due to a problem related to the file permissions of the repository of BigBossHere are three solutions that might work for you. If we find more, or if you know of any other way that works for you, please comment.

First Option:

Remove the BigBoss Repository

  1. Connect via SHH to your iPhone or iPod Touch.
  2. Go to this path: “/etc/apt/sources.list.d/” and delete the “.list” file from BigBoss.
  3. Run respring

Re-Add the BigBoss repository:

  1. Opens Cydia
  2. Go to Search
  3. Write BigBoss and install the package

Second Option:

Windows users only:

Download ClearCydiaListCache:

  • http://rapidshare.com/files/258076875/ClearCydiaListCache.zip.html (You need to have .NET installed).
  1. Unzip the .zip file and move the file to your desktop.
  2. Double-click on the executable (.exe) and then on start.
  3. On the confirmation screen you must click OK.

Third Option:

  1. Log in via SSH to the following path: “/private/var/lib/apt/lists”
  2. You will find several files and folders
  3. Delete everything except the "partial" folder
  4. OPEN Cydia

Note: This problem occurred because BigBoss He uploaded a corrupted file and some devices managed to download it, so not all devices were affected.
