Hello iPhone users, MuscleNerd has announced to all his Twitter followers that iOS 5.0.1 Build 9A406 for the iPhone 4S is open source. This means it's possible to open the firmware and extract the files it contains without encoding or modifying them. This will allow for the legal porting of Siri to devices other than the 4S, as the Siri files are now publicly available. This is undoubtedly great news for hackers and users alike who want to try porting Siri to other devices.
