White House denies FBI plans for Apple to create a backdoor for iPhones
After Tim Cook decided not to cooperate with the investigation into the iPhone 5c belonging to the man involved in the San Bernardino incident , authorities have been insistent on changing the Apple CEO's mind, and this time, a response to Cook has been issued through a statement released today.
According to Reuters, White House spokesman Josh Earnest announced at a press conference that the U.S. Department of Justice is only asking Apple to help unlock a single iPhone , which could be the key to the attack carried out in December, which many believe was an act of terrorism.
