This morning, Deutsche Telekom announced to all its customers that the highly anticipated iPhone 6 will be launched on September 19.
It's important to note that Deutsche Telekom is one of the largest telecommunications companies in Germany and the EU. It's believed that the announcement was published to encourage customers to renew contracts that were about to expire.
The statement was sent verbatim as follows:
"The Customer Service Center informs you that your contract expires approximately with the market launch of the new Apple model. Therefore, we inform you that if you wish to extend your contract with the company, you may do so starting September 19th , the date on which the new devices will be launched." Read more »
