Here's what Trendforce expects from the next iPhone

Rumors and predictions about the future iPhone seem to be increasing considerably, and after some opinions from KGI , TrendForce seems to have an internal source aware of the hardware that Apple's next mobile phone could feature.

First, let's mention that there's good news for those who bought a 16GB model and upgraded due to lack of storage space. According to TrendForce , this will no longer be a problem because the new generation of iPhones could start at 32GB.

The firm believes that mass production will begin next June and that shipments will exceed 25 million by the third fiscal quarter (Q3) and 50 million by the end of this year.

TrendForce also confirms a significant increase in the iPhone's RAM , as we have mentioned many times, and possibly the use of Force Touch, although the company does not expect this new feature to be very useful for users due to the lack of applications that support it, even though the technology is present in the device.

This next model, already dubbed the iPhone 6S or iPhone 7, is also expected to be slightly thinner and, obviously, feature an improved battery. TrendForce doesn't mention the screen size, although other predictions suggest we could return to a 4-inch screen and that Apple will abandon phablet options.

With over 60 million units sold in the first quarter of the year, surpassing the volumes of previous models in the same period, Apple's task will not be easy to achieve in the initial 2016 report considering that the iPhone 6 is still in high demand.
