Tutorial: How to Use the Winterboard Tweak

Hello iPhone users! Here's a short tutorial for the wonderful Winterboard tweak . As many of you know, this tweak allows us to completely change and customize our device , giving us a wonderful way to see our iPad/iPod/iPhone in a different light. Here I'll explain how to install themes on your iDevice.

Requirements:

To have an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad
Have iOS 3.1.3 or higher
Have WinterBoard installed
Have iFunbox
Have iFile (Optional)

Process:

1) First, make sure you have WinterBoard on your device from Cydia

2)-Installing the theme through Cydia, the theme is chosen

3) Install the theme, then respring and you're done

4)-Once we have the theme, it will be on our device. After installation, we go to the winterboard and configure it as follows.

5)- We go into select themes and select the theme we downloaded, it will look something like this

6) Once we select the themes, we click on winterboard and then we respring and that's it, the theme will be working on our device.

Here are the steps for installing the themes downloaded from some websites:

How to install the theme in (.zip / .rar):

-Unzip the folder to your desktop, then run iFunbox and navigate to the ssh path

From iFunbox or iFile:

-Var> Stash> Themes) for Springboard / complete with Lockscreen

For SBSettings:

-Root > User > Library > SBSettings > Themes) for SBSettings Themes

For the color keyboard:

"ColorKeyboard/Popups" to the path "Library/ColorKeyboard/Popups"

“ColorKeyboard/ to the path “Library/ColorKeyboard/Themes

Installing an external deb theme:

-The themes you downloaded from any source are those that go in the following path: iFunbox

var/root/Media/Cydia/Autoinstall, then reboot the device and activate it on the winterboard, that's all.
