Twitter updates its new iOS app: Periscope

Shortly after Upclose was announced as a live streaming app for Twitter , the social network itself acquired Periscope , making it its official app for users to stream and interact with their followers. Two months later, the app received an update with exciting new features.

Version 1.0.4 includes significant bug fixes from the previous version, which they announced via their Medium account . New features include the ability to change profile pictures, easier response to user comments, and more.

This same option allows you to select an image from your camera roll or take a new one directly with your phone's camera. Furthermore, Periscope has reorganized its follower list, abandoning alphabetical order and focusing on new followers. And if that weren't enough, the broadcasts section displays your entire history, but it's not visible to other users.

Another interesting feature for those looking to try the application but without having to grant Periscope permissions on Twitter is the option to register without using an account on the social network and thus have the option of using a mobile number as other social applications like WhatsApp or Telegram do.
