Ultrasn0w is now compatible with iOS 5

Hello iPhone users, the new version of Ultrasn0w 1.2.4 is now available for download from Cydia. This version does not add any new unlockable basebands; that is, you can only unlock the same basebands as always: iPhone 3G and 3GS 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04, and 06.15.00. iPhone 4 01.59.00. If you update to iOS 5, you will update the baseband. You must update while preserving your baseband by creating a custom firmware with Redsn0w or Sn0wbreeze.

There's a trick for those with an iPhone 3GS running baseband 6.15: you have to select "Do not enable location services" when prompted during the initial setup. You can re-enable it later in the settings, but this is necessary during the initial setup.

If you had an iPhone 3GS and tried to install the original firmware, you've messed up the baseband. You should have done it with a custom firmware. The only solution is to reinstall baseband 6.15 with Redsn0w.

NOTE: If you're still on iOS 4 with Ultrasn0w, don't plan to upgrade, and it's working well for you, I recommend not updating Ultrasn0w to this version because it may cause errors you don't currently have.
