An amazing portrait of Steve Jobs

One of the renowned local artists, Jason Mecier, has just created a stunning portrait of Steve Jobs. What's interesting about this piece is that it was made from 20 pounds of electronic waste.

The portrait is an interesting work of art, where old and discarded Apple products were used to create the collage. The artist utilized remnants such as keyboards, mice, power cables, disks, logic boards, cell phones, iPods, headphones, batteries, memory cards, and other Apple fragments to assemble the face of the late Steve Jobs.

It took artist Jason Mecier 40 hours to assemble the pieces and create the iconic photo of Jobs. This isn't one of his first creations; throughout his career, Mecier has created collages for a large number of celebrities.

Through his website, you can see numerous pieces depicting various characters, from Barack Obama to Snoop Dogg. Many of these iconic works are made from discarded materials such as yarn, beans, candy, food scraps, paper, metal, and more.
