Velox 2, the tweak that adds features to your home screen

Velox, a tweak that debuted in iOS 6, is now back and better than ever for the latest stable version, iOS 8.4. Basically, this tweak lets you interact with apps directly from the home screen without having to open the app.

How Velox 2 works for iOS 8.4

Swiping up on an app icon will open a new window so you can interact with it from the home screen.

For example, swiping up on the clock icon opens a window where you can turn alarms on or off, similar to the settings icon, which allows you to respring, restart, and lock your iDevice.

For applications not supported by Velox, the window will display pending notifications.

It should be noted that this tweak also comes with a preferences panel where you can customize the look and feel.
