Viber announces the launch of Viber Out

Viber has just announced a major upcoming global launch: the well-known company Viber Media Inc. is officially launching its new Viber Out service, which will allow users to make low-cost calls to any mobile or landline number worldwide.

Prior to this, Viber had already enabled Viber Out for users in the Philippines following the devastating Typhoon Haiyan, which affected millions of people in the region. The sole purpose was to allow those affected to stay in touch with their friends and loved ones.

To provide free calls from the Philippines, Viber partnered with telecom companies around the world, including Telecom Austria, Telecom New Zealand, Hutchison, Bharti Airtel, Telecom Italia, Citic, Netvision Cellcom, Mada Communication, and Omantel.

A significant partnership between Viber and Globe Telecom provided the support the company needed to enable users worldwide to call the Philippines for free. Leveraging this partnership, Viber Out was officially launched.

A platform that allows all Viber users to call anyone worldwide at low rates via their Android, iPhone , or desktop computer. This important feature is now available to all users by purchasing credits through the app. It's available on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store , or via credit card through Viber Desktop . As advertised, Viber Out offers significantly lower-priced and low-cost calls compared to other competing services.

Unlike competing services, Viber Out displays your real phone number to the recipient so they know who is calling. Additionally, Viber Out on desktop computers uses your phonebook to make calling easier , so you don't have to remember numbers or dial them manually.
