Xiaomi and Huawei push Apple to third place in sales in China
Apple has long considered the Asian market one of its most important in the world, thanks to its consistent sales success in the countries that make up this region. The company has even sought ways to cater to its customers' tastes, for example, by offering the iPhone in gold for the Japanese market.
Samsung is not Apple's only competitor in the Asian market.

But in China, Apple's product sales had always been overtaken by its rival, Samsung. However, just a few hours ago it was revealed that two tech companies have pushed Apple into third place in sales, and no, we're not talking about Samsung, but Xiaomi and Huawei.
Sales of devices from both brands managed to surpass Apple's sales, even though last year Apple was in first place in smartphone sales.
However, despite the setback, Apple remains optimistic despite any dip it may have experienced during the second quarter. Furthermore, Apple continues to expand its sales activities in China to ensure its products remain in demand among users in the country. And, although Apple has dropped two places in the Chinese sales rankings, we cannot ignore the impressive figures Apple has achieved this year.
The company's revenue growth in China this quarter was 112%, a difference that undoubtedly highlights the inequality that exists between Apple and its competitors.
And it's no coincidence that Apple has taken the lead in smartphone sales. After capturing 92% of the industry's net profits, it's hard to imagine what happened to bring Apple down to third place. Is it just a matter of seasons? Only time will tell.
